!!!!! New HQ?!?!

GUYS,

TODAY I SAW A SIGN FOR A BOARD GAME CAFE THAT ISN'T NORITA!!!!!!!!!!!

PLUS IT'S EVEN CLOSER TO UNI THAN NORITA!!!!!

AM PROBABLY GOING TO DRAG DANIEL THERE ON WEDNESDAY TO CHECK OUT THE DETAILS!!!

I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT IT'S CALLED, BUT IT'S OPPOSITE MARKET CITY!!!!!!

I'M SO EXCITED AT THIS POSSIBILITY THAT I ACCIDENTALLY TYPED 'GAMEBOARD' TO DANIEL AND IT TOOK ME TWO MINUTES TO REALISE MY MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!

ONCE I CONFIRM AND HAVE PROPER DETAILS, I DEMAND A GFAMILY REUNION AT THIS PLACE (IF SUITABLE) THAT MAY BECOME OUR NEW HQ, OKAY?!?!

THAT'S NOT REALLY A QUESTION, GUYS! IT IS FACT!!!

WILL HAPPEN!!!

LOTS OF LOVEEEE,
GDRAGON!

Love it!

Okay, you're all going to realise how lame I am once you read onwards... but it had to be said! I'm proud to say that there is finally a good coffee place near uni!!

Guess where?

Right next to Gloria Jeans!! It's called 'Charlie Lovett' and the coffee there is gorgeous! I'd bought myself a travel mug to save myself money, especially since the coffee is crap around campus, but now I can see myself splurging at least once a week at this place.

Did I mention they have bread? The good gorgeous real kind?

If I didn't love my family so much, and there were a zombie outbreak, I'd take refuge there.

Think I'm delusional? Check this review.

Speaking of cafes, I'm thinking that a G Family Norita Jenga Reunion is on the cards. Your presence will be demanded!!

Lastly, I leave you with a photo because no blog post is complete without one... Behold in all it's glory... Daniel's miracle body!!!

P.S. If you click on it it'll lead you to my new personal blog ;D Go onnnn, you know you wanna touch it! :P

Ho-Ho-Ho

Ho- ho- ho

I get bus sick, sea sick, car sick (unless I’m in the front passenger seat/ driving)

Only thing I’m immune to - trains, planes

Had to go to the city for four rounds yesterday (various reasons - one of which a certain someone didn’t turn up and my annoyance will start to build into rage soon!!) I was gonna die on the bus … so ended up driving and parked at Broadway for my final trip

I get to drive to work today - cuz my mum’s BEST friend will be coming down to pay us a visit and we’ll be picking them up before I head to work

On another note: XMAS is so soon! I’ve set up my Xmas tree, wrapped all the prez, stocked up on Xmas-y food (I LURRVVEE Christmas - my all time fav celebration!! - I like it more than Birthdays becz everyone gets a gift!! And I like the whole Xmas feast thing)

I’ll be spending Xmas lunch at Chatswood with my cousins (paternal) and my Xmas dinner at French’s Forest with my extended (maternal) family. (I fucking love it at my grandaunt’s house even though I don’t know like 80% of my very distant relatives)

Parents went looking at some property up at Turramurra with my cousin - so hopefully - fingers crossed - everything’s goes smoothly and by Jan next year I’ll have a place to crash the night if I ever wander off to the North and get too lazy to travel home (ESP if there’s trackwork - bloody railbuses!!)

xx

Bara......sushi and Indian sweets

I haven't blogged in such a long time.
There's nothing much happening in my life at the moment, apart from work, so I thought I'd blog about my dinner last night!

Has anyone ever been to Carlingford? I have two places I like to go to eat when I'm in 'Carlingford Village' (a centre for all things Asian), and since last night, I now have three places I like to go!

1. Hong Kong Cafe (They make a killer Assam tea, and it's relatively cheap as well)
2. The token Japanese restaurant which I now do not remember the name of...sorry
3. Last but not least, an Indian grocery store that sells yummy Indian sweets

Last night my Mum, Dad and I decided to go to the token Japanese restaurant. I ordered a dish called Bara....sushi. The reason for the dots in between Bara and sushi is because I don't actually remember the letters in between, however, I do know that the dish is a form of Bara Sushi. It was really tasty. It reminded me of a sushi bed. I also had 'Ramune', which was delicious as always.

Before I forget, I have to talk about the Indian grocery store. Last night, before dinner, I asked the lady at the Indian grocer "what's that?" (pointing at a round container), because I thought it was Glutinous rice balls. YUM YUM YUM... but I found out that the dessert was actually cheese balls. How delicious does that sound? Wait.. it gets better. Cheese balls in syrup!! Anyway, since my mum didn't want to eat cheese balls in syrup, we ended up buying a $2 bag of sesame balls. I think they are called Tal Na Ladoo. The sesame balls were great. Everyone felt really happy after eating one.

So I now conclude that, if you have some spare time, go to Carlingford Village and drink some Assam tea, eat some Bara...sushi, and eat some sesame balls or cheese balls, if you're up for it!

Yay for an update

Okay guys im so sorry for my lack of contribution - and yes Ive finally remembered to!
Hmm whats been happening lately - I'm working like 5 days a week (approx 38 hours) at jayjays market city - just started like a week before the exams (not that i didnt like my medical receptionist job just cuz the pay was really shit and was starting to annoy me since im heading to Korea in Jan - hence the i-can't-go-to-Blue-Mountains explanation) - i can't put myself as unavailable cuz im still on probation ): - I REALLY hope u girls are having fun at Blue Mountains (saw Samme's tweet)

AND yes Bowling is a must - except when we're organising something it's best to make it like weeks ahead just so i can check my shifts and what not - since ive been evil (hiding/ m.i.a) i will try my best to organise a bowling/ xmas reunion? haha

I hope everyone is enjoying their hols - mine has mainly consisted of just working, reading and some movies. I'm too tired to do anything else on my one/two days off i just sit at a cafe near home LOL - gay i know - it's so freaking hot out i dont even wanna move lol
